Home Insulation

Home Insulation      Insulation in a house is like covering yourself with a warm blanket on a cold day. It keeps your home warm in winter and cool in summer. This is why it is important, as if your house doesn't have any home insulation, it could possibly be wasting tons of heat energy outside of your house, possibly increasing the prices of your house bills by alot. By adding home insulation to your home, you can reduce that by reducing the ways that the heat can escape the house. There are many materials used for insulation, some are used to reduce convection, some conduction, and also radiation.  Tip: These insulations DO NOT STOP FROM LOSING HEAT. They only reduce the amount of heat lost; they do not fully stop fully. Depending on which insulation you get, what quality insulation you got, how much of the insulation you got, will determine the reduce amount of heat you lose. MUST READ: Also, make sure to not get confused. I'm sorry if I mention that the cold will enter the

Treaty of Versailles homework. pictures no work

What is the ‘Treaty of Versailles’? The Treaty of Versailles was a significant peace treaty that brought World War I to an end. It was signed on June 28, 1919, in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles located in France. This was exactly five years after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, which led to the WWI.          The peace treaty had some penalties and extra laws added due to WWI. Here are 3 main ones:      For Ge rm an , it imposed harsh penalties on Germany, the country that was seen as the main aggressor in the war. These penalties included substantial territorial losses, military restrictions, and heavy reparations payments. Germany lost territories in Europe and all of its overseas colonies, and its army was limited to 100,000 men with no submarines or aircraft.      There were also new Nation States. The treaty led to the redrawing of the map of Europe. Several new countries were created, such a

Funday Friday?

Funday Friday? – Friday, 17/11/2023 Today was Friday, so today was supposed to be a fun day… (it was mostly a fun day :D) Morning The first thing to do in every morning is to wake up and get out of bed. The next thing to do is to eat breakfast and to take a shower. Regular morning stuff like I always says. Anyways, I’m just going to skip when we started leaving to school. We said our goodbyes and prayers before we go to school, to hope that we have a safe and great time at school. Arrived to school Once we arrived to the school, we locked our bikes, and got into our lines. I said hi to my friends, Aiden (my main best friend), Aron (sometimes my friend when I randomly meet him or during class), Suhan (Aiden and Aron’s friend), and Dawood (my very smart friend during science). We got into our form class to do our registration. While we were walking to our registration class, I was talking to Aiden about some stuff that I worked on yesterday and also, we talked about the GEMS

An Interesting Day...

An Interesting Day – 14/11/2023 (14 th November 2023) So today was an interesting day. The day had started like any other day, except for that I felt so demotivated for some reason. I had a feeling that today was going to be fun but boring. This feeling would still be with me after I had done the daily morning routine. So, shower, breakfast, praying, reading, and remember if I had any work on school that day like maybe homework that I had forgotten. But I didn’t, so I could just watch some YouTube for a bit. Then it became 8:05 after Azka finished praying. We put on our socks, gloves, and a new head scarf thing to cover half of our ear and our nose and mouth. I’m not sure what it’s called, but you just put it over your head, then put it over your mouth, nose, and ear. We put that on, and got our bikes out. THE TIME WOULD ALREADY BE 8:12, WE WERE SUPPOSED TO LEAVE 7 MINUTES AGO. WE HAD TO GIVE IT ALL OF OUR ENERGY TO ARRIVE ON TIME. By the time we had arrived, it had already bee

Sherlock Holmes DRAFT

Draft Sherlock Holmes Sherlock Holmes is a great detective. He has many skills including; A master of disguise, strong, fast, and very introspective. For this part, I will be writing about him being very observant. The quote I will be exploring is: “You see, but you do not observe ” replied Holmes The quote “You see, but you do not observe ” is a reply by Holmes to Watson. Where Holmes says to him that he only views something, never observes it. The average person would look for the most obvious things in a picture, and not the small details. An example of Holmes being observant is when Holmes was looking for the knees of a helper for Jabez Wilson in the Red-headed League. “I am sure that you inquired your way merely in order that you might see him,” said Watson. “Not him.” replied Holmes. “What then?”  “The knees of his trousers.” During the Red-headed league, Holmes is trying to inquire about Jazeb Wilson helper. Holme’s doesn’t mainly want to talk to him, but rather to see his k
