Introduction of Thailand:

Thailand is a country located in southeast Asia and has the land mass of 513.120 square kilometers with almost 70 million people. Thailand borders 4 countries which is Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, and Laos and has sea borders with South China sea which is in the Pacific Ocean. Thailand has 32 cities and Bangkok being the capital city, it also has 1,430 islands and the biggest is the Phuket Island which is 514 km2. Thailand has a tropical Climate which means that is only has 2 seasons in the form of Rainy and Dry season. The Currency of Thailand is Baht and has coins Worthing 1 baht to 1000-baht banknotes. Thailand have never been colonized by any European and they were able to do that by showing them that they are a strong country.

Politics of Thailand:

Thailand government is a Semi-democratic constitutional monarch which means that Thailand has a Prime minister (Prayut Chan-O-Chan) but also a King which is currently Vajiralongkorn. Thailand is an ASEAN member which joined in 8 of august 1967 and its purpose is to advocate free and fair trade. Thailand Time zone is UTC +7 (ICT) which is the same time zone with Sumatra and Jakarta. Thailand has 2 anthems in the form of “Thai National Anthem” and “Royal Anthem”. The emblem of Thailand is Phra Khrut Pha which is a mythical creature and used to symbolize royalty. Thailand after World War 2 became allies with the United States in the cold war. Thailand experiences some coups by their own military, but it has recently stabilized.

People of Thailand:

Thailand Official language is Thai but also has other languages like Isan or Lanna. Thailand Ethic groups consist of 37% Central Thai, 25% Thai Lao, 10% Thai Chinese, 8% Lanna and Dambro, and more smaller ethnics. As for Thailand Religion it is 93.5% Buddhism, 5.4% Islam, 1.13% Christian, and 0.023% being other religion and atheist. Thailand has many unique tribes, and the largest tribe is the Karen hill tribe with a population of around 1 million people and it believed that they originated from Tibet.

Economy of Thailand:

Thailand has a GDP of 1.480 trillion dollars and has a per capita of 21,114 dollars. The Value of Baht is 34 baht per Dollar or 1 baht per 445 rupiah. Thailand Economy heavily relies on export and import which mean that Thailand exports over 105 billion USD in the form of Cars, Computers, Devices, Rice, Fish, Rubber, Jewellery, and more. Thailand is well known with its Tourism because of its Tropical Climate with beautiful islands and beaches while having historical temples and statues means it bring up to 61.5 billion US dollars in 2019 which makes up to 6% of the country economy but because of covid the tourism has slow down.

A Fun day - Tuesday 5/12/2023

  A fun day – Tuesday, 5/12/2023 The reason I find Tuesday so fun is because that on Tuesday I have P.E, and Music. I also had Geography but I wasn’t that excited because we had a test on geography coming up. Music sometimes I find fun because it can be stressful sometimes. For P.E, I find it most of the times fun. I don’t ever find P.E stressful or not fun. Anyways when we woke up, we did our usual morning routine. We decided to wake up early and sholat. We then showered, ate breakfast, read Qur’an, wear our coats and gloves, then we set off on our bike to school. Then we arrived to school. A strange day... - Tuesday 19/12/2023

  A strange day… - Tuesday, 19/12/2023 Today was a strange day. The day first started off kind of sad, this is because today I have a dentist appointment and that means I have to skip P.E. P.E is usually the most fun subject because it’s fun and very limited as it only occurs once every week. I firstly woke up in the morning to pray, once I finished praying, I went down stairs to make my breakfast, once that I went back upstairs to shower as my brothers didn’t want to shower first. Once I finished, I put on my clothes and prayed again. I read the Qur’an and went back downstairs to finish my breakfast. Once it was time to go to school, we stayed at home since we had a dentist appointment. We left at around 8:40 to go to the dentist with our school uniform and bikes, and once we arrived at 9:00, we waited around 9:15 till it was my older brother turn, then my turn WAS supposed to start at 9:25 but instead it happened during 9:20 because it was so quick.
