These are the
elements in Rhythmic Gymnastics:
1. Beauty
Beauty is an element of the gymnastic movement. Where
this exercise originates from the performance area so the element of beauty of
movement becomes and important point in rhythmic gymnastics.
2.
3. Dexterity
Then there is the flexibility, this element is a market
on how deep a person can do gymnastics. Because they flexibility can be created
from how to compose choreography and practice regularly. Apart from radiating
from body movements, their flexibility can also be obtained from other
movements.
4. Flexibility
Flexibility is also like Dexterity; it is also very
important. Because the rhythmic gymnastics is also closely related to the
nuances of ballet and acrobatics, where the movements that they do are very
flexible. Apart from that, both of them must be follow by their body gestures
that usually use extreme joints and body curves.

Mas Egi – Tuesday (
ART ) 11/4/2023
Today Mas Egi will
teach me about the floor patterns that you can use during when you are dancing
or anything.
Pola Lantai / Floor Patterns:
Lurus / Straight
Firstly, is horizontal when you go side to side, then
lurus ke depan but you can also call it vertical, then its diagonal, after
diagonal its zigzag, then segi tiga or triangle, then segi lima or pentagon,
then finally segi empat or rectangle.
Melengkung / Curve
First is Lingkaran where you go in circles, secondly is
angka delapan where you go in a 8, lengkung ke depan is when you curve but out
/ forward, then lengkung ke belakang is when you curve but from behind.
Diagonal: Lingkaran / Circle: Segi
tiga / Triangle: etc...
After that Mas Egi showed me Tari Kecak which is a dance
from Bali which they use the movement from Curve which is Lingkaran / Circle.
Then Mas Egi show me another dance called Tari ratoh
jaroe which they use horizontal movement and is also from Aceh
Example of Tari Ratoh Jaroe but way
bigger:
Also, if there is a lot of people they can also form a shape like this one is segi empat.
The Function of
Floor Patterns:
Floor Patterns are used in dances, both traditional and
new dances, floor dances are used to become something that must be considered.
The use of floor pattern des not only just place the position of the dancers on
the stage, but also it has a meaning according to the theme of the dance
performance.
The floor pattern
in traditional dance has functions, including:
1. Strength or clarify the movements of a particular role
2. Helping to put pressure or strength on a certain
character that is highlighted.
3. Enlivening the motion characteristics of the entire
dance performance.
4. Forming the composition, adjusting the dance to the
shape of the performance space.
5. To beautify a dance.

Write down about the Causes
and how to prevent Flooding!
Flooding
is a serious problem when it happens. It destroys houses, crops, shelter,
shops, small businesses and more. Today I will be writing about the causes of
floods, the consequences of flooding, and how to help prevent flooding from
happening.
Floods
can be caused by many things. For example, due to the extreme heat the ice from
Antarctica will melt and create an increase rise of water and flooding the
nearby areas. It can also happen due to intense rainfall which can flood entire
cities. Another way which is human caused is caused by people who sand mine,
people who cut down entire forests, and also poor garbage disposal can also
increase the risks of flooding.
Floods
can destroy buildings since water is really heavy. Floods destroys tons of
buildings like houses, small businesses, entire grocery stores, even well built
buildings and more. It can also destroy our crops which can lead to a low
supply of food for us to eat. The flood will also kill the livestock as the
flood will sweep them away and possibly die. Floods are deadly and best bet is
to get to somewhere high enough to avoid the flood.
We can help prevent floods from
happening by instead of cutting trees down but by planting a lot of trees as
they help absorb rain water and decrease the soil erosion. We can also recycle
our trash in the correct trash bin instead of just throwing it away. And if
possible if you can make ponds around your area as ponds can help store in
excess water during the heavy rainfall.
At the end of the day, we are all
responsible for floods as we all have contributed to floods, but we can try to
reverse the effects of flooding by just doing small things. We need all of us
to do it together. All of us need to help to prevent it. Hopefully in the
future flooding doesn’t get worse and instead it becomes less frequent.
